# 2ND database lost in as many weeks

### Issue Summary

“error establishing a database connection” This time (this happened last week to another one of my sites) the error happened as I was navigating through the site. Hit a couple of pages and then it failed.

#### Troubleshooting Questions

- Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular?  
This is the second site so far.

- Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser?  
Yes, I had to do that with the first site that went down. I recreated a new local, did a git pull of the theme from remote and then used db Migrate pro to pull the database. I just regarded this as a one off issue. Now that this has happened to a second site, I am concerned I’m going to lose all of them.

Describe the steps that others can take to replicate this issue. If you have screenshots that can help clarify what is happening, please include them!  
Opening local and starting a site

- Which version of Local is being used?  
Local 5.10.5

- What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?  
macOS 11.4 Big Sur
