# Adminer memory exhausted

Simply trying to import a 170MB zipped SQL file into a db in Adminer and receive “ **Fatal error** : Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 170397776 bytes)…”
I’ve edited all the “maxes” in site’s php.ini.hbs file and restarted services, site, etc. per a community mod’s reply to another user on this topic, but receive same message.
This is a beautifully designed app, but unclear on why something meant for development environment buries basic configuration options, files, etc.
My config:
MacOS Monterrey
Chrome latest
PHP 7.41
MySQL 8.0.16

Hello @twelvetwo! Are you getting the error on a blank WordPress install or is this another site that you’ve been working on? If the latter, could you test it on a blank install to see if it goes through?
