Is there any influence from the local site domain and cerifticate to those on remote hosting? Do they must be the same? Like
if local site is example.local, must remote site be example.tld?
If local certicifate is example.local.crt, must remote certificate be issued for example.tld?
What happens, if local site and certificate don’t match those at remote? In forum are some cases reported, where change of local site broke things - so my consideration, is it really needed, that local and remote match?
The domains and certs shouldn’t match @EvgeniyO. It is better to keep things separate to avoid disruptions for sure. Sometimes there can be issues where maybe additional Search and Replace work is necessary to clean up some lingering domains or HTTP > HTTPS but generally speaking whatever migration service you use will be doing some of that automatically.
