# Bug SSL certificate

I can’t activate the SSL certificate in the local interface. It displays the message ‘https is not available when using localhost Routing mode.’

### System Details

- Local Version: 8.2.0+6554

- Operating System :windows 10

- web sever: nginx

- php version: 8.1.23

Hi @anisben

This is not a bug, HTTPS is not available when using Localhost mode. You can change your Router Mode to Site Domains and you should be able to enable HTTPS.

Preferences\>Advanced\>Router Mode
