Cannot connect to localhost with Live Link

Failed to complete tunnel connection

The connection to http://e28603a8.ngrok.io was successfully tunneled to your ngrok client, but the client failed to establish a connection to the local address localhost:10006 .

Make sure that a web service is running on localhost:10006 and that it is a valid address.

The error encountered was: dial tcp [::1]:10006: connectex: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

Hi @Dapper4236,

When you got this error, was the Local site running, and was it accessible through its normal (non Live Link) URL?

Hi,

I have encountered a similar issue:

The connection to http://e7d18bcd.ngrok.io was successfully tunneled to your ngrok client, but the client failed to establish a connection to the local address localhost:10020 .

Make sure that a web service is running on localhost:10020 and that it is a valid address.

The error encountered was: dial tcp: lookup localhost: no such host

The original URL created by Local is still accessible. Should I install ngrok by myself?

So embarrassing. The service was not running. Everything is OK now!

Thank you!
