# Changing web server to Apache

Our live sites are all Apache, so I’d like Local to reflect that instead of nginx. Problem is, when I try to change from Preferred to Custom (Apache), I keep getting an error “MySQL was unavailable when Local tried to back up [site name]'s database.” Two days of messing with this.
