# Clickable button tel not working

when I click that button such, the message is displayed to click on Open Microsoft WINRT storage API but nothing happens and it does not work.

- Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular? on the only site when this button exists
- Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser? yes

- Which version of Local is being used? 6.2
- What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used? WIN11

### Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

When you click on a tel: link, there is a default app configured to handle those requests. This is specific to your browser and/or your OS (which looks to be Chrome, and Windows 11). I would start by going to the Windows Settings \> Apps \> Default Apps \> Choose defaults by link type, and then scrolling down to find the TEL (URL:tel) handler. Change the setting there to the app that you want to use to make phone calls (e.g. Skype), and try the link again.
It’s important to remember that as a site builder, you won’t control the tel: link handler and experience – that is in the hands of your end users.
