# Cloud Backup Sync Question

Hi,

I have a question in regards to how the Cloud Backups work. I have a site that I created on 1 computer and backed up. I cloned this site on another computer via cloud backups and have made changes and backed it up again. When I switch back to computer 1 and go to the cloud backups area for that specific site, I don’t see any of the backups I made on computer 2.

So my question is, are these backups supposed to sync between computers or can I only create a new site from a backup.

Hi there, @bahamagician - welcome to the Local community! 👋

What you are experiencing is expected behavior because sites created with Local are not synced across machines.

I would recommend creating a new site on your original machine from your most recent Cloud Backup.
