# Complete local website disappeared HELP!

Dear

I need your urgent help to solve a problem I have encountered. Yesterday evening (12/21/2020 at 7PM) I finished to work on my local site and turned off my computer.  
This afternoon, opening Flywheel I read on the screen there were NO site and the suggestion to update Freewheel. I did so, but I was not able to find all the work I did yesterday.

Hey @fabrizio, Welcome to the Local Community Forums!

It’s hard to say what happened without a bit more info:

- What version of Local are you using? Was it recently updated?

- What Operating System and OS version is being used? For example, MacOS Catalina, Windows 10, etc…

- Can you please provide your Local Log? See this Community Forum post for instructions on how to do so:

- Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site?

If you are able to create new sites in Local, can you try restoring the site to a new one in Local? You can use a backup of the site, or try using the files for the site by following the steps outlined in the “Restoring From Only Local Site files” section of this help doc:
