# Dns\_probe\_finished\_nxdomain

### Issue Summary

Ever since I installed local in my pc I am not able to view site. As soon I press the view site or admin button on local, google chrome try to load the site and display this error DNS\_PROBE\_FINISHED\_NXDOMAIN.

I tried almost every tips around the internet including resetting/releasing/flushing DNS through command multiple times. Reinstalling local, deleting and adding multiple sites in local, some host file things etc.

#### Troubleshooting Questions

- Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular?  
Its Happening to all the sites ever since I installed Local

- Was it working earlier ?  
No, I tried this first time and found it not working

- Which version of Local is being used?  
I have the latest version of it from its official website

- What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?

**Note -**  
One more thing I have noticed is I am not able to connect any vpn. Tried installing 3 vpn from app store (after the issue) but noting worked. I was using hotspot shield vpn some month ago but now it is also not working.  
No I didn’t tried Local with a vpn yet as none of them is working.
