Can someone help me with this error I’m getting here? It started happening all of a sudden and I’ve already done some standard procedures that didn’t work. Can anyone help me? Grateful 🙂 I’m using windows 11.

Hi there @Triskle - welcome to the Local community 👋

Can you please provide the full error message and/or your Local logs?

You can obtain those by following these steps:

> A big part of troubleshooting errors, on any website or application, is the log file. This file contains a record of actions or errors that have occurred when a process is done. When reaching out for…

@Triskle One thing to check is if your Windows username, and thus your home directory, contains an extended character, you may be impacted by this known bug:

>
> Moderator Note: Known Bug Summary Thank you everyone who has chimed in and helps clarify this issue! The general problem is that when a Windows Username includes special characters (so an apostrophe ' or a non-ASCII character like é) it can break the commands Local uses to communicate with the MySQL database. Usernames that have an apostrophe in them should be fixed, so update to the most recent version of Local if the username has an apostrophe in it. Read on for what you can do if the userna…

I only mention this because the fourth character in your last name, “Vinícius,” would likely cause this issue to occur.

Hi @Triskle! Did you see Burt’s message above and check if that could be a blocker?

I saw… I was trying to save to another location that doesn’t have this incompatibility problem and it got the same thing. I made a point of formatting the computer and putting Windows 11 back on just to try to solve this problem and nothing.

Hi @Triskle

Do you have any antivirus, security, or firewall applications that could be blocking Local?

More details about troubleshooting this here: [Router Mode](https://localwp.com/help-docs/advanced/router-mode/)

Are you running other developer applications simultaneously? That could also cause similar issues. Apps like MAMP, XAMPP, or Docker for example.

If you’re still having trouble can you share your full local log? There are some different ways to access and share Local Logs. For us to be able to troubleshoot thoroughly, please click the `Download Local Logs` button from the `Support` tab in Local. This will generate a zip archive that contains the Local log along with some other diagnostic information to help quickly zero in on any issues that Local is encountering.
