# Hanging on "Local Image" on install, Mac

I have download version 2.2.4 and am trying to get things set up for the first time…  
The process stalls/stops at the beginning of the “Local Image” step (screen shot attached).

I have searched the message boards and tried everything that I could find, and still no luck.  
Here is some information from my local-by-flywheel.log file:

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I’m now stuck… and might just have to go back to a MAMP setup :(!

Did you try closing the installation and starting it again? It will take back from where it closed and might go all the way.  
What system are you installing local? You can try running it as Admin if it’s Windows.

Opening your Task Manager you can see if VirtualBox is running, if it is, try terminating its process and starting the install again.

If none of this (plus what you already said you tried), you already poked the install a lot and might have created more problems. I would clean install Local from the start again, since you have nothing to lose right now… This means uninstalling VirtualBox (if you didn’t have it on your system before the setup), and deleting any files you can find that Local created.

I just updated to version 2.3.0 and things installed as they should… no hang up on the Local Image part of the installation process.

So I think I’m all set for now?
