### What issue or error are you experiencing?

I used the WP Migrate plugin to create a valid zip file of my website for use in a local WP environment. After dragging and dropping the file into the local setup, it started processing the files. However, despite containing both wp\_content and the SQL file, the process finishes with an error stating that the zip file didn’t work. I am unsure why this is happening.

### What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

When I give the file to Local WP, a pop-up appears with an error message. Despite the zip file containing both wp\_content and the SQL file, it indicates that the zip file didn’t work. I am unsure why this is happening.

Hi @mal259

There could be something extra in the site’s content that is causing a problem. You can unzip the file and use the steps here to manually move the contents into a blank site in Local.
