Hello I am stuck on “starting local machine” It started correctly yesterday after a long time being pending. But now it is “starting…” for 6 hours, nothin happens… It was the same on install. i had to quit install when itwas the local machine part. Hi all, So sorry for the trouble! Can you both (and anyone else who stumbles upon this and is having the same issue) provide your local-by-flywheel.log file? You can find it by clicking on the menu button in the top-left then going to “Reveal Local’s Log”. ---

I’m having the same issue. Here’s my log: [local-by-flywheel.log](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex019/uploads/lwpforums/original/2X/e/ef9bb83c8e60d9fc7a8a45c453386bc224b37e62.log) (328.6 KB) I have found that this usually happens when I first try to open Local after the computer’s been shut down or asleep. If I then close it and try again, it loads straight away. ---

Hi @mchandler, It looks like the log you provided to Jeremy during the chat might have been truncated. Can you try going to Help » Reveal Local’s Log and then attach the file in a reply here? Sorry for the trouble! We’ll get this sorted. ---

Got it, thanks! Please [open up Cmd.exe](https://www.digitalcitizen.life/7-ways-launch-command-prompt-windows-7-windows-8) and enter and run the following command: - `%LocalAppData%\Programs\local-by-flywheel\resources\extraResources\virtual-machine\vendor\docker\windows\docker-machine.exe rm -f local-by-flywheel` After you run that command please try reopening Local. ---

Can you please try this command now? - `%LocalAppData%\Programs\local-by-flywheel\resources\extraResources\virtual-machine\vendor\docker\windows\docker-machine.exe create --driver=virtualbox --virtualbox-disk-size 120000 local-by-flywheel` Once again, after running that try re-opening Local. ---

Local isn’t starting after that command? What was the output of that command when running it in Cmd.exe? ---

Hi, I´ve got this message: “Error creating machine: Error in drive during machine creation: Error setting up host only network on machine start: The host-only adapter we just created is not visible. This is a well known VirtualBox bug. You might want to uninstall it and reinstall at least version 5.0.12 that is supposed to fix this issue.” Could you help me? Tks ---
