# I lost my local site

I have updated flywheel and lost my local site. Is there some way to recovery it?

I am so sorry fraymores that this has happened! The good news is that the site should still be on your computer and we have an article that should help you get back up and running. Please check out the following link, walk through the steps in the **Restoring From Only Local Site files section** , and let me know if you have any problems:
