# Local 5.2.4 : Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket (macOS)

This seems to work.

` SOCKET=$(mysqld --verbose --help | grep ^socket | awk '{print $2, $3, $4}');ln -sv $SOCKET /tmp/mysql.sock`
