# Local by Flywheel - Auto updater issue(?)

Hi,
I’m using version 2.2.1 on Windows 10. It seems I can’t update to last version (2.2.3) I see no errors.

Lucian,
Can you please provide the `local-by-flywheel.log` file?
In the meantime, I recommend upgrading manually since 2.2.1 is a pre-release. Here’s how:
1. Go to the latest [Release](https://local.getflywheel.com/community/c/releases) ([2.2.3](https://local.getflywheel.com/community/t/local-by-flywheel-2-2-3/4964) at the time of writing)
2. Download and run the Windows setup. This will automatically upgrade Local.
Once the setup runs, you should be good to go 🙂

Will it be an issue if I’ll update Local and then Virtual Box to the newest version? I currently have Virtual Box version 5.1.30 _r118389 (Qt5.6.2)_ and I will update to the next/last one - 5.2.6
Or **is it better to first update Virtual Box and then Local**?
It will be also great to know if there’s a certain order of updating Local and Virtual Box for future (references).

You can upgrade Local and VirtualBox in any order. If Local needs a particular version, it will prompt you to upgrade.
