I have my local sites folder and in this folder i have my old sites but suddenly my dashboard is not showing any sites. It ask me to create a new site. Any of my old sites is not displaying in the dashboard how to fix it?

You should be able to zip up any old sites and reimport them by dragging and dropping each zip file over the Local app to use the native import feature.
As for why this happened, that’s harder to say. Has your device gone through updates? Do you utilize any external drives? Is this a personal device or one issued by an employer?

Yes, I have updated my local by Flywheel the day before the problem occurred. I am using a device issued by an employer. I am not utilising any external drives.
I have imported some of the sites, and it’s working fine. However, some sites are not able to import from the old folder, showing an error that no SQL file exists and are unable to import. In this case, what to do? I have noticed that sites that are unable to import don’t have the SQL folder inside the app folder, it’s only have the public folder.
If they don’t have a SQL folder then the database may have been lost or corrupted.
You can still import the content that you have, you’ll just want to create a new blank site in Local first and then import the content over top of it. The steps will be similar to these you’ll just skip the database portion: Manually Import a Local Site
Moving forward you can use something like our Cloud Backups feature to always save copies of any important sites if you wish: Cloud Backups
Or you can always take a manual export backup and save that somewhere yourself to your preferred storage solution. Backup a Local Site - Local
