# Local instance is slow

I saw that there are already numerous entries on the subject, but either they did not help me, or my English and technical knowledge were too poor to understand the solution.

Maybe someone has experience with my problem and can help me with a step-by-step guide so that dummies can understand it.

My local WP instance runs very slow under Windows11. In fact everything is very slow, from navigating in the backend to refreshing in the frontend.

Does anyone have an idea what this could be?
