# Local (Not Responding) when clicking on Open Adminer and then does nothing

I’m wondering if the latest Beta of Local might resolve this for you? Specifically this note from the Beta:

> - Adminer has been replaced with [AdminerEvo](https://github.com/adminerevo/adminerevo) inside Local; Adminer was no longer maintained and AdminerEvo is a new, actively supported community alternative with all of the same functionality. Try it out in your site’s Database tab.
