# Local Slow on Mac

So, anyone who has encountered this problem on a Mac with M (apple silicon). The solution is to manually update the program to the Apple Silicon version ([Releases - Local](https://localwp.com/releases/)). The problem was that when the program automatically updated, the Intel version was loaded.
