# Localhost refused to open

I just started using Local, and I can’t seem to open the site that I created.  
I’m basically getting this message:

_# Hmmm… can’t reach this page_

_ **localhost** refused to connect._

_Try:_

\*\* Search the web for [localhost](https://www.bing.com/search?form=ANLKDR&q=localhost)\*  
\*\* Checking the connection\*  
\*\* Checking the proxy and the firewall\*

_ERR\_CONNECTION\_REFUSED_

It does this for both the wp admin, and the open site links. I’ve tried a bunch of things, and none of the them seem to work.
