Well.. I guess there is a difference in that there are no “warning” messages. But the site is not displaying correctly at all.
Strike that… if I click around I do end up getting warnings

Rewinding back here a little bit. Is there anything you need to recover from the Local site? If your Production site is operating fine and you don’t need to recover anything from the Local site then maybe at this point it would be easier to just completely delete the Local version and start fresh. It seems that whatever happened with the domain changes originally creating too many conflicts within the configuration.
Live is about 2 years old.
All of the past 3 months of “updates” have been done local.
I would really hate to start all over.
If you want to try and address the specific warnings you will have to inspect those lines called out in the files. You could also enable Xdebug or error logging to see if you have any fatal/critical errors that need addressing in your theme, plugins or other code. The warnings seem to be calling out core files as well.
Something that might be worth trying is creating a new, blank site in Local and then manually importing your content and database over to the new site to see if you can get things working with a fresh install.
That said, all of the warnings seem to be calling out your theme and your core files. So you could try reinstalling the main theme and/or WordPress core files as well to see if that helps to resolve your issues.
Thanks Nick for your help through this. I will give those suggestions a try.
