I too am having issues with logging into my local wpadmin for a site I just brought over into local. The source site was covered by 2FA so I am assuming that is what the login is looking for but I have no way to turn that off on local without being able to log into wpadmin on local. I see this issue has been around for a while now. No solution yet? I never receive a validation email by-the-way.

Hi @enews! I’ve moved your comment into it’s own post as this is unrelated to the thread about 2FA for Local Hub.

For your issue you can use the steps on this link to reset or change your admin credentials or create a new user:

> **[Reset a WordPress admin password](https://localwp.com/help-docs/troubleshooting/reset-a-local-sites-wordpress-admin-password/)**
>
> If you don’t have an admin login or you simply forgot your admin password, this doc will go over how you can gain access to the WordPress admin for a Local site on your computer using WP-CLI.

You might also have a security plugin or 2FA plugin on the site that needs disabled. You can do this by clicking on Site Shell and then using WP CLI commands like `wp plugin deactivate pluginname`
