Hey @lukedohner, I recommend you use a migration plugin, just as you would migrate a live site to Local, or a Local site to the live environment. I explain it better in the answer below: > **[Problem when installing a live site via duplicator package](https://community.localwp.com/t/problem-when-installing-a-live-site-via-duplicator-package/6255/2)** > > To install a live site on Local, I recommend you use All-in-One WP Migration (link below). Through the plugin is an easy process, but you can do it mannually too: Just download wp-content folder, export your database, rename it to local.sql, zip... Another plugin to do that is called Duplicator, explained in one of clay’s answers: > **[Changing Site Name, local server access and uploading to a different host](https://community.localwp.com/t/changing-site-name-local-server-access-and-uploading-to-a-different-host/5936/3)** > > @atempel’s answer in Can I give remote access to my WP Admin with Flyxheel Local? is spot on for this. I know you’ve already seen it, but I’m linking it for others 🙂 The site domain (and optionally the site name) can and will be changed when... If you need further help with the process let me know! 😉 --- _[View the full topic](https://community.localwp.com/t/moving-my-locally-built-wp-site-to-local-by-flywheel/7807)._
