# New Install ignores old sites

I uninstalled Local and installed again. After the install none of my previous sites were available. Creating a new site works and the local sites director shows my old sites are still there. How do I get local to recognize them.

Whats is the version of your Local? Have you tried importing sites again? Did you upgrade by mistake to 5.0.6?

Hey @rclarke,

If you’ve upgraded from Local 3.3 to Local 5.0, you’ll need to migrate the sites from the old Local to the new. Knowing what version of Local you’re working currently will help us narrow down what’s going on if the above if not the solution for you.
