### Issue Summary When I click “Open site Shell” it is opening the terminal but its running “exit;” and logs me right out of the shell it looks like. #### Troubleshooting Questions - Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular? This happens on all my local sites. - Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser? Yes the website itself runs fine. #### Replication Describe the steps that others can take to replicate this issue. If you have screenshots that can help clarify what is happening, please include them! I found [this post](http://community.localwp.com/t/open-site-shell-opens-and-quits-in-mac-os-big-sur/27860) but I do run the latest version of ZSH so its not telling me to update in a clean server. I’ve sometimes experienced this when there’s something within my shell that’s prompting me for more info. In my case, it’s when Oh-my-zsh is prompting to upgrade. To fix, I’ll just open a new terminal, run the upgrade and then try opening my site shell again. Can you see if you have something similar happening in your shell? ---

Taking a closer look at the shell output and comparing it to my own shell, I almost wonder if there’s a setting the the shell’s dot-files that is inserting the `~/Projects` path and as a result is breaking the environmental variables needed to communicate with the Local site. ![Image 2021-11-17 at 11.42.19 AM](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex019/uploads/lwpforums/original/2X/e/ee81a0d498e17fbac09aee8ead5d645837c74921.jpeg) Since your shell is `zsh` – Can you tell me a little more about any configuration you have within the zsh config files that relates to the `~/Projects` folder? I’m thinking that there would be something within one of these files: - `.zshrc` - `.zshenv` ---
