Post.php referring to index.php at wrong location

Issue Summary

When I move a site developed using Local, it’s causing our host’s security to lock users out. Our server admin sent the following error:
[Thu Apr 01 11:12:34.493318 2021] [php7:error] [pid 12437] [client XXX] script ‘/home/web/sites/XXX/htdocs/index.php’ not found or unable to stat, referer: https://XXX/pci/site/wp-admin/post.php?post=82&action=edit

It looks like it’s an issue with file paths, since the site is within a sub directory, not the top level.

Troubleshooting Questions

This is only happening when I migrate sites from Local to our hosting. It does not happen on a local site, as it’s in the top level directory. Sites developed outside of Local & moved to our host do not have these issues.
