Problem creating a new site

What issue or error are you experiencing?

I can’t create a new site.

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc.

I have done everything you had in the Troubleshoot: Windows + Local. I also changed the router mode and I don’t have any spaces etc in my account name. Please help me I’ve struggled with this for few days now.

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

The specific issue you’re running into here @erikakajander is further down in our Windows help doc under Special Characters in Windows Username.

You’ll need to create a new user without any special characters or spaces and then you should be good to go!
