Push Issues for Site Database

What issue or error are you experiencing? Uh-oh we ran into an issue when pushing - to WP Engine

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? I did follow instructions from another post to turn off API, back on, etc. but I have had this issue in the past as well. I also worked to clean the database, but that did not help.

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Thanks for your logs, @jamlocal22. They show a plugin on your site (‘nexcess-mapps’) is causing a fatal error during the push attempt:

If it’s already updated and using the latest version, perhaps you could disable/remove this or exclude it from the push (using Select Files in the push options).

Perfect thanks! I did not see the plugin in the staging environment, since it only shows on the old server. So this makes sense.

Hello Again,

Even just pushing the database though creates a problem. It is saying something about a backup cannot be finished etc. see new log file.

Hi, @jamlocal22. The ‘backup cannot be finished’ error does not block push.

The error in your second log is the same as the first and seems specific to a broken ‘nexcess-mapps’ plugin:

"class":"SshService","level":"warn","message":"PHP Warning: include(/nas/content/live/hkids1/wp-content/mu-plugins/nexcess-mapps/vendor/composer/../../../nexcess-mapps/Concerns/InvokesCli.php): Failed to open stream: No such file or directory in phar:///usr/local/bin/wp/vendor/composer/ClassLoader.php on line 576\nWarning: include(/nas/content/live/hkids1/wp-content/mu-plugins/nexcess-mapps/vendor/composer/../../../nexcess-mapps/Concerns/InvokesCli.php):

It’s causing a fatal error, so you’ll likely need to solve this (for example, by updating or replacing the plugin in your mu-plugins folder) before you can push.

Thanks!

Just deleting all the files from the local files and on the server fixed this issue… it is a pain when a web host injects files like this, but I suppose they are trying to protect themselves.

Great to hear you solved this, @jamlocal22. Thanks for letting us know.
