Removing Additional Modules Downloaded for Custom Environment

Hi Local Community,

I recently tried spinning up a site using Local from a Wp Engine backup, to no avail. However, while attempting to get the site running I spun up a custom environment and was warned that an additional 120+mb of modules were going to be downloaded in the process.

If I delete this install from Local will these modules also be deleted? Or, do I need to do some deeper purging to free my machine from the additional modules?

Hi John,

You can remove the custom environment extras by going to ~/Library/Application Support/Local by Flywheel/environments/custom and deleting components-extra. You can also delete the entire custom directory in environments if you do not wish to use the Custom environment.
