[Resolved] Serious problems after updating 5.1.1 to 5.2

I´m using Windows 10 Creator…
After updating from “local-beta-5-1-1-b1580” to “local-beta-5-2-0-b1870”
I cannot delete local sites from the FW environment, nor delete directories after uninstalling Flywheel 5.2.
This operation has generated an error on the disk (Very expensive in time) and the files remain in the recycle bin, since they have acquired irremovable read-only properties.
The system checks for disk errors in the partition where the sites were hosted, with each restart or hard boot.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Jorihlen,

There aren’t any changes in between 5.1.1 and 5.2.0 that I can think of that would be causing read-only issues that you’re running into. With that said, if you downgrade to 5.1.1, are you able to access/delete sites?

Thank you Clay for your kind and quick response …
In one of my attempts to solve the problem I completely uninstalled FlyWheel.
The problem persists despite that.
Still trying to fix the hard drive errors.

Hello Clay, I can confirm that the errors were caused by a hard disk degradation.
Flywheel’s activity in that location only made the problem more evident.

Bummer about the disk degradation! I hope you’re able to remedy it.

Also, thanks for the follow-up. You had me scratching my head for quite some time.

Sorry for being the cause of that hair discomfort.
