Can’t find any help for this anywhere, maybe you guys could help.
I put 4 month of work on this site, after my computer crashed 2 weeks ago I could only get back the folders and files Local By Flywheel was using at the time of the crash. You know, those files that were saved on my harddrive.

When I try to import that to a new site it just gives this message:
 ![Anteckning%202019-08-10%20174742](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex019/uploads/lwpforums/original/2X/8/8f932e6920e46f1279826f6f8d92dd010d3ef51b.png)
["Error Importing Site.
Sorry! We couldn’t figure out what to do with the import file provided. Please extract it manually” ]

Have anyone had the same problem and could fix it? Please, Help!

Hey @PaulDeucher –

That error means that Local didn’t know how to handle the import and is usually due to not using a `zip` of the site.

You should be able to create a `zip` of the site folder and then drag and drop that onto Local for it to import.

You might take a closer look at the steps outlined in the “Restoring From Only Local Site files” section of this help doc:
