This is a really odd issue and I’m sorry for the hassle this has created. Can you let me know a little more about how the update was done?
- Do you remember what version of Local was installed before updating?
- How was the update done? For example, did you manually download the Local installer, or did you follow the upgrade window?
- Do you have any add-ons installed and active? What ones?
- Was there something specific that you were doing in Local when the update was started?
- Can you please provide your Local Log? See this Community Forum post for instructions on how to do so:
In terms of a work around – Can you try restoring those sites to a new ones in Local? Try using the files for the site by following the steps outlined in the “Restoring From Only Local Site files” section of this help doc:
If you are wanting to re-use the same site names, you’ll likely need to delete those individual site folders after zipping them up so that Local can re-use those folder names.
