# There has been an error cropping your image

### Issue Summary

Whenever I try and crop an image (or favicon) using the customize options, I get: “There has been an error cropping your image.”

#### Troubleshooting Questions

- Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular?

Apparently this is related to a PHP version? I’m not sure how I’d update this through code, although apparently it’s possible. Someone posted a solution here for this error:

- Which version of Local is being used? 5.10.3 + 5332
