### Issue Summary

I retrieved the wp-content via FileZilla. I retrieved the .sql with a whole-database dump from phpmyadmin. I zipped them together. Then, some SQL files failed to import. And the site as a whole failed to import. No site was created.

Hello there @darkhorse - welcome to the Local community! 👋

Have you tried using BackWPup as recommended in this help doc?

> **[How to Import a WordPress Site into Local](https://localwp.com/help-docs/getting-started/how-to-import-a-wordpress-site-into-local/)**
>
> Local is pretty flexible about being able to import a WordPress site from a archive. There are two required things that Local needs for the import to be successful: If you manually download a backup…

That might help format the files in a way Local can accept better.

Would you be able to try that?

Sam
