# Unable to reset MFA for Local login

### Issue Summary

I need to reset the 2FA settings for my Local login account, but can’t get into the account without a code. (Changed phones and the authenticator app disconnected the original configuration.) How can I get a reset to create new 2FA settings?

Hi @techtinu! I’ve received your communication and disabled your 2FA. You should be all set now to get in and then re-enable it when you’re ready.
