Hi, I’m unable to access my local WordPress account because I’m being asked for a two-factor authentication verification code that I no longer have access to.
Could you please help me reset or disable the 2FA verification for the following account?
The WordPress site is running locally using Local. I need to regain access to the account without affecting the existing local site or its data.
You don’t need to log into the Local application to access your WordPress site. The Local Hub login is only necessary if you want to utilize our Live Links feature.
If you’re having trouble logging into a WordPress site in Local due to 2FA set up through a user management or security plugin, you can click on Site Shell and use WP-CLI commands to disable one or all plugins.
I also deleted your personal email from your original post just FYI since this is a public forum

Hey @khaled! I can help you log in to Local Hub but to be clear this is only for using the Live Links feature in Local. This doesn’t have anything to do with being able to login to your WordPress admin.
Are you needing to log into Local Hub to enable the Live Link feature?
I need to be able to access my account once again it’s connected to my Github account and I need to access all the accounts I can’t login using Github account that is connected to Local WP without the 2FA key.
