When trying to fix my errors I am asked to sign in with my username and password however it refuses to sign me in. I have Reser my password number of times however it still refuses to sign me in.
How best can I fix this problem?
Could the problem be the version I downloaded or could it be with my iOS.
It could be a caching issue. Are you running any caching plugins on your local site? Have you tried opening a different browser, clearing cache or opening an incognito window?
Hi @Patience-Nkosi123 - log in to Local (top left corner, under your profile picture/icon), or log into your WordPress site via WP Admin?
My assumption is that you’re speaking of WP Admin, which Local doesn’t have much influence over. This is the username/password configured with the site when it is created. You can reset the password via the WP Admin log-in screen, or you could create a new user via WP-CLI.
You can do this from your site shell in Local (right click on the site while running and “Open Site Shell”)
