Using live links on my friends pc redirects to popup scam sites

Issue Summary

When my friend opens the live link the site looks broken and messed up, and when they click on a link they get redirected to a popup scam site. We scanned their computer for viruses and there weren’t any. I tried scanning my website with wordfence but the scan fails halfway through.

Replication

Using live links on my own computer works fine but when using them on my friends computer the website looks messed up and clicking on a link redirects to scam popup sites.

  I’m using windows 11 and my client is using windows 10.

It sounds like this issue might be specific to that computer. Are you experiencing this on any other device (phone, tablets, other computers, etc)?

On your friends computer, can you try using a different browser?

Thanks, it’s not happening anymore. I think the issue was an unsafe plugin.
