WordPress URL settings doesn't match the host set in Local

Clicking the fix it button doesn’t help. And other websites don’t have this popup but automatically redirect me to a 404 not found page..

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Hi @Lara_11!

If you create a new, blank site in Local can you access that okay? If you can, then you may want to try reimporting the site getting the errors. The steps would look like this:

  • Locate the site files on your machine, and save a copy of them to your desktop. If you click Go to Site Folder under your site name it should take you right to where they are located.
  • Once you have those copied, completely delete the site from Local
  • Restart Local/your machine
  • Reimport the site back into Local. You can refer here on how to Restore from only Local site files

I’m also seeing some entries in your logs that look like there might be some port conflicts at play. Something you could try is changing your Router Mode to Localhost.

Preferences>Advanced>Router Mode

Yes! Actually this worked like a charm! Luckily I had a second backup folder of all my websites in my desktop called Local, so those were able to be imported just fine. I’m just concerned at the fact that the original backup folder that the websites were being saved at called Local Sites didn’t have anything in the apps folder, but for some reason the backup folder on my desktop did..

Glad to hear that things are working now @Lara_11. With that done, you might consider taking some backups with our native Cloud Backup feature as well for redundancy.
