403 on clone from a working site

Just cloned a site and I get this on load:

403

Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access / on this server.

Any ideas?

Changing to nginx fixed…

Is the .htaccess file still present in the app/public directory. If so, does it look different than the WordPress default?
