500 Internal Server Error

I was ready to finally migrate my website to the server for an official launch this week end, and was horrified to see a “500 Internal Server Error” page. I can no longer go the admin or see the site!
I got the following message:
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator at webmaster@localhost to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log."error.log (15.4 KB)

Please can you help, i have no clue of what to do as i do not have technical knowledge about all this…

Thank you,

Hi Diane,

The .htaccess file in the site’s app/public folder appears to have an invalid Header entry.

Please open up that file and adjust it accordingly. It’s hidden by default so you’ll need to make sure you have the “Show Hidden Files” option enabled in your code editor of choice.

Thank you so much Clay! I managed to find the .htaccess file… A friend helped me and now it is fine!
Thank you for an amazing tool and support!
