As a new user I didn’t have a clue what type of backup structure could be imported into Local, and found the answer having read a number of threads on the forum. It took me somewhat longer to locate a useful thread on this today to try and help another user out.
I’m suggesting that instead of taking a user directly to the Browse for archive to import dialog, you present a page with a paragraph or two explaining which backup plugins Local works with and any associated requirements, and the basic details for constructing your own backup zip, sql in a single file, etc. This should save multiple users needing to search the forum (and possibly finding threads with only half of the information that might be useful to them), and is also likely to decrease support queries on this topic.
