Can't Push Database

Issue Summary

When I try to push the site it works, but if I want to include the database it fails and displays the Uh-Oh message at the top of the screen.

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular? One site in particular.

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser? Yes.

Replication

Describe the steps that others can take to replicate this issue. If you have screenshots that can help clarify what is happening, please include them! I did have issues pulling the site from WP Engine initially and had the Flywheel team migrate it for me.

System Details

  • Which version of Local is being used? Latest 6.3.0

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?

    • Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7
  • Attach the Local Log. See this Help Doc for instructions on how to do so:

local-logs.zip (103.9 KB)

Security Reminder

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Hi there @conciergewebco,

I can see the error that is happening based on your Local log file - somewhere during the MySQL database dump (using mysqldump), an error/exit code is being thrown that we’re not expecting.

I’m going to create a ticket for our engineering team to look into what could be erroring out. In the meantime, are you able to push/pull your database another way, or are you blocked?

Thanks,
Austin Wendt

Hi @conciergewebco! Just a heads up if you need a workaround you should be able to access your Flywheel sites via SSH: Flywheel | Flywheel’s SSH gateway
