Can't reach my local sites

What issue or error are you experiencing?

I can’t reach my local sites in browser? I have updated to the latest version and now when I start site and go to Admin page I get this


What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

If you change your Router Mode to Localhost are you able to proceed?

Preferences>Advanced>Router Mode>Localhost

@Nick-B no, tried it just now. Same message.

Can you try it in a different browser type (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) or Incognito window and see if it works there?

Are you using a VPN or office network?

@Nick-B sorry for the late reply. Yes, it works in Google Chrome but not on Edge. How can I fix this in Edge?

Some things to try:

  • Restarting your network
  • Clearing cache and cookie data
  • Checking Edge for updates
  • Uninstalling/reinstalling Edge
