When I add a new site, on the last step, after all of the info is entered, I get the error.
Yes, it seems like Local doesn’t have access ot the hosts file anymore. Very strange.
Specifically, what security setting are you thinking?
System Preferences> Security and Privacy>?
Or something else?
Would I benefit from uninstalling and reinstalling?
