I wish to create a Wordpress website in Local but the domain name may be modified later. Mac OS Sequoia 15.6.1

How easy it is to change the domain name for my Wordpress site in Local and can anyone share how this is done?

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

“Change domain” is built into Local. Start any site, then right-click your site in the sites list and choose “Change domain”.

Local will prompt you for the new domain and make the change for you. Note that this only applies locally. Remote sites are not altered.
