Installer gets stuck on "Host machine" - Docker issue

Hi, I can’t seem to install Local on Windows 8.1. During the install, the Virtual box is verified, but the installer gets stuck on “Host machine” after verifying to disable Hyper-V.

Any idea how to fix the Docker issue?

Note: I updated my VirtualBox version, but it didn’t help.

Hey @enfrte –

How was Hyper-V disabled? You might take a look at this forum thread: Conflict with Hyper-V

Here’s another blog post that outlines the process of disabling Hyper-V in a little more detail: http://www.poweronplatforms.com/enable-disable-hyper-v-windows-10-8/

Hey, thanks for your reply.

Hyper-V was disabled through a popup I got during the installation. After what you said, I looked into other ways of disabling Hyper-V and found that disabling it in “Windows Features” allowed me to use Local with no problems.
