Links without trailing slash switch to http and port URL

What issue or error are you experiencing?

When I visit https URL’s without a trailing slash, the address changes to http and port number format. i.e. https://mydomain.local/somepage turns into http://mydomain.local:port/somepage/

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

Click on a linked page without a trailing slash in the URL.

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

I’ve checked with our team and we do have a bug filed for this in our backlog as it has come up previously. For now the best workaround will be to ensure that trailing slash is added! Thank you for your patience and communication with us on this.
